Terms of Use

1. Definitions

"App" refers to the Parking Sign Master (Sweden) mobile application.

"Company" refers to Sparkling AI AB, a company registered in Sweden.

"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the App.

"Services" refers to all features and functionalities provided by the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old to use this App, as this is the minimum age required to drive certain vehicles such as A-tractors in Sweden.

By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Use the App to develop a competing service.
• Resell or redistribute the App's services without permission.
• Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the App.

4. User Responsibilities

The App provides parking sign interpretations, but these are informational only. Users must verify parking rules with local authorities before acting.

We are not responsible for any parking fines, penalties, or incorrect interpretations.

You agree to use the App lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

5. In-App Purchases and Credits

The App operates on a credit-based system:

• New users receive 5 free credits.
• Each scan consumes 1 credit.
• Once free credits are used, users must purchase additional credits.

No refunds will be given for unused or purchased credits, including if your account is terminated or deleted.

Abuse of the free credit system, including but not limited to creating multiple accounts to repeatedly obtain free credits, is strictly prohibited. If such activity is detected, the user's account may be permanently banned, and all associated credits will be forfeited.

6. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if:

• You violate these Terms.
• We are required to do so by law or a legal order.
• We detect fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior.

Upon termination, any unused purchased credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

7. Account Management and Deletion

Users must create an account to use the App.

Users can delete their account within the App. Upon deletion:

• All associated user data will be permanently erased (except where retention is required by law).
• Any unused credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

8. Temporary Data Storage for AI Model Improvement

When you upload a picture of a parking sign, the image may be temporarily stored for up to 12 months to improve the App's AI model, test new features, and fix bugs.

• All stored images are anonymized and are not linked to user accounts.
• No personally identifiable information (e.g., faces, license plates, metadata) is stored.
• After 12 months, all images are automatically deleted.
• While some data is processed and stored within the European Union (EU), certain data may be processed outside the EU by third-party providers such as Clerk and RevenueCat. These providers follow their respective data protection policies and apply necessary safeguards.

9. External Services

The App uses third-party services, including:

• Azure OpenAI API (for AI-based recognition and processing)
• Google APIs (for authentication and location-based services)
• Firebase Analytics (for app usage tracking and diagnostics)
• Clerk (for user authentication and account management)
• RevenueCat (for in-app purchases and subscription management)

By using the App, you also agree to the terms of these third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App provides parking sign interpretations for informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and are not liable for:

• Parking fines or penalties resulting from incorrect interpretations.
• Any legal consequences resulting from reliance on the App.
• Any errors, bugs, or service disruptions.

Users must verify parking rules independently.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be available in the website https://parkingsignmaster.com

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Swedish law.

Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Swedish courts.
